Great video. I plan on putting chicken's in my garden when they get old enough just for the fertilizing aspect.

Thank you for sharing some wonderful ideas! I am raising 5 chickens in my back yard. They are fun and I love the eggs but they really are destructive. I may try the tunnel.

I'm so glad to see these inexpensive pens. All I've been seeing online are these huge coops that cost $400 or more.

Great video, like the chicken tunnel idea.  It's amazing what even one chicken can do for bug control.  Growing up my sister had a pet hen, lived for 11 yrs before dieing of old age.  It was a great egg layer for the first 4-5 yrs, then it became an every other day and towards the end it was twice a week.  But the whole time earwigs, cockroaches, moth caterpillars and bugs in general weren't a problem.

Chickens will tear up and destroy any plant or garden they get their grubby beaks into. I have to pen them in a one acre area to protect my gardens and all my plants. I wanna see you put a pen around 4 acres of garden…geesh!

Nice video, well done, very informative.  We are almost done with our chicken run, for our 12 chickens that are almost 4 weeks old next will be the coop, the chicken poop and the wood shavings are good compost for sure, thanks!

Unfortunately, eggs are bad for your health and chickens can contract deadly viruses, like H1N1..  Animal protein is also bad for your health.

Thank you so much for uploading this. It has been a real help to me. I'm in southern Spain and am considering adopting 2 chickens for my vegetable patch and under my citrus trees, but wasn't sure how to keep them safe if they are running free. I'd considered a chicken ark, and now you show me those wire tunnels. They'd be great for where the chicken ark won't fit. I'd have to fit some sort of shade, but that should be easy enough from binded together bamboo canes. Are plans available to make the chicken arks? Please can you post the link if they are?  Thank again
